Terms of Service

1. Service description

Ideosave ("we", "our", "the service") provides a lightweight web-based tool that reads publicly available page metadata from supported platforms and exposes direct media download links when the source platform's public page structure makes them available. Ideosave does not upload, host, cache, store, republish, or re-encode the actual video files beyond transient processing strictly required to fulfill a single download request.

2. Who may use Ideosave

You may use Ideosave only if: (a) you are of legal age to form a binding contract in your jurisdiction, or you are using the service under the supervision of a parent or guardian; and (b) your use does not violate any law, regulation, or third-party right applicable to you.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use Ideosave in a way that infringes any copyright, trademark, privacy right, or other intellectual-property or proprietary right of any party.
• Use Ideosave to download, redistribute, reupload, or exploit commercially any content unless you are the rights holder, have been explicitly licensed by the rights holder, or your use is independently permitted by law (including fair-use / fair-dealing doctrines where applicable).
• Attempt to bypass any paywall, password protection, age gate, region lock, private-group access control, or platform DRM.
• Use automated systems, scrapers, bots, scripts, or bulk tools to submit URLs to Ideosave in volume or to resell the service.
• Submit malicious URLs, SSRF payloads, credentialed URLs, URLs pointing to internal/private networks, or URLs containing personal data of third parties.
• Use the service in a way that causes or may cause harm, instability, downtime, or undue load to Ideosave or to any third-party platform.
• Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or circumvent any security or rate-limiting controls in the service.

4. Copyright, takedown, and DMCA

Ideosave respects intellectual-property rights. If you believe material accessible via Ideosave infringes your copyright, please submit a proper DMCA-compliant (or equivalent local-law) notice to dmca@ideosave.com. We will investigate and, where appropriate, disable access to the specific result(s) in question. 5. Third-party platforms

Ideosave is not affiliated, endorsed, sponsored, or maintained by Facebook, Meta Platforms, Inc., Instagram, TikTok, ByteDance Ltd., Vimeo, Xiaohongshu, or any other third-party platform referenced on the site. All trademarks, service marks, logos, and brand names are the property of their respective owners. Your use of each platform is governed by that platform's own terms and policies.

6. Availability; service changes

The service is provided "as available". We may change, suspend, or discontinue any feature or any supported platform adapter at any time, with or without notice, especially where upstream platform changes break extraction, where legal risk arises, or where abuse protection requires it.

7. DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IDEOSAVE IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS, WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, STATUTORY, OR OTHERWISE. WE EXPLICITLY DISCLAIM ALL IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, QUIET ENJOYMENT, ACCURACY, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT, TOGETHER WITH ANY WARRANTIES ARISING OUT OF COURSE OF DEALING, COURSE OF PERFORMANCE, OR USAGE OF TRADE. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, SECURE, OR COMPATIBLE WITH ANY PARTICULAR PLATFORM, DEVICE, OR BROWSER.

8. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL IDEOSAVE, ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, CONTRACTORS, OR AGENTS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, GOODWILL, OR USE, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF — OR INABILITY TO USE — THE SERVICE, WHETHER THE THEORY OF LIABILITY IS BASED ON CONTRACT, TORT (INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE), WARRANTY, STATUTE, OR OTHERWISE, AND EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID (IF ANY) TO USE THE SERVICE IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM.

9. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Ideosave and its officers, directors, employees, contractors, and agents from and against any claims, suits, proceedings, disputes, demands, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or relating to: (a) your access to or use of the service; (b) your violation of these Terms; (c) your violation of any law, regulation, or third-party right; or (d) any content or data you submit, process, or download via the service.

10. Governing law and disputes

Unless a different law is mandatorily applicable under consumer-protection rules in your jurisdiction of residence, these Terms and any dispute arising out of or relating to them or the service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction under which Ideosave operates, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Where local consumer law grants you a specific forum and cannot be opted out of, that forum shall remain available to you.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by a new effective date. Your continued use of the service after such changes takes effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
